One of the most frequently asked questions I get on social media is about my skin routine, so this time I’ll tell you some of my specific tips for pre-and post-workout skin care.
Whether you’re still training at home or you’ve already encouraged yourself to go to the gym, taking care of your skin is crucial. It’s always important to have a skincare routine before and post-workout, no matter if you are in your 20s or more than your 40s as I am.

Pre-Workout Skincare Routine

Step 1: Wash your face with a gentle cleanser and remove all makeup.

Step 2: Apply a facial mist to the face for a boost of hydration.

Step 3: Moisturize with a light moisturizer.

Step 4: And the MOST important step if you’re going to train outdoors, apply sunscreen, at least 50 to 100 SPF.

Pre-Workout Skincare Routine

Step 1: Wash your face again (as soon as you can to remove sweat and bacterias). The longer the mixture of sweat, oil, and residue remains on the face, the more likely it is to obstruct the pores.

Step 2: Apply a light moisturizer or facial oil containing antioxidants and vitamins to nourish the skin.

Step 3: Reapply Sunscreen (Day time).

Extra tip: Avoid exfoliation and makeup wipes.
